Coaching Skills
This course helps managers and supervisors learn a coaching process to address performance issues and encourage positive performance. It is interactive and involves feedback on coaching styles. The course is presented in a 4-hour format.
Conflict Management
Change, process improvement in the workplace requires collaboration. Learn a five-step method to deal successfully with conflict. Achieve positive results by skillfully handling difficult issues. Conflict is, bottom line, two people looking at the same thing from a different perspective.
Customer Service (5 Options)
The focus is on P.E.A.K. Customer Service (Professional, Efficient, Always friendly, and Knowledgeable). This applies to those serving customers in person, or over the phone. Learn how to represent your organization while becoming a customer advocate.
Creative Problem Solving / Decision Making
How we look at a problem determines how it’s solved. Unlock personal creativity by learning to think freely while being open to new possibilities. Explore barriers to creativity and discover techniques that can be applied to virtually any problem (using a problem-solving process).
Discipline: A Positive Approach
Redirect behavior while using a positive approach. Learn a 5-step method to address discipline issues while maintaining employee self-esteem. The key is gaining employee commitment to improving performance.
Effective Presentations
Participants learn to convey enthusiasm and confidence while developing their own personal presentation style. Feedback is provided in a helpful way. Simple delivery techniques to control nervousness and speak clearly are covered. Presentation methodologies are demonstrated and discussed.

This course helps you plan for and conduct a successful interview of job candidates. Preparing for the interview by selecting appropriate questions is an important focus of this program. Participants leave with a method of grading job applicants to make effective hiring decisions.
Leadership: Empowering Others
There’s a difference between management and leadership. They are two different behaviors, and both are required for organizational success. Learn skills required to lead and manage people. The course features self-assessments and interactive skill-building activities.
Listening: The Key to Communications
Participants discuss the importance of “listening” in the 5-step communications process. A self-assessment along with a communication survey helps you understand your own skill level. Active listening exercises and role-plays help participants discover the importance of listening.
Mentoring Others
Steps involved in launching a mentoring relationship with a subordinate or co-worker are covered in this presentation. Learn how to keep mentoring assignments on track. An assessment helps participants determine if they are ready to step up to a mentoring opportunity as Mentor, or Mentee.

What motivates and de‑motivates employees? Using role-plays and self-assessment instruments learn how different motivational concepts can be used to inspire behavior toward organizational goals and objectives, and how to apply them.
Performance Appraisal:
How to Give an Appraisal
The importance of using an appraisal process to improve human performance is stressed. The focus is on how to discuss the strengths and developmental needs of employees while producing positive results. Giving people feedback is essential in promoting productive behavior.
How to Receive an Appraisal
This course helps participants be better prepared for the evaluation, and understand how the manager appraising performance approaches the meeting. The importance of understanding the job description and performance objectives is emphasized.
Root Cause Analysis - Safety
A variety of ways to identify the potential cause of an accident are presented. Confirming a root cause of an accident is critical, requiring the asking of specific questions that generate data used to make decisions and prevent future accidents. The difference between accidents and injuries is discussed.
Statistical Process Control (SPC): An Introduction
Participants learn how SPC can ensure the output of a process is meeting quality standards. Emphasis is on using SPC charts effectively and taking preventive & corrective action based on SPC trends. This is a two-hour presentation.
Strategic Planning
Develop a strategic plan for an organization to guide future actions. Decide how to commit resources over a 1–3-year timeframe. Learn about S.W.O.T. analysis (strengths, weakness, opportunities, threats), dashboards, organizational thrusts, and environmental scans to keep the organization moving forward.
Stress Management
This interactive course will draw distinctions between positive and negative stress. Participants consider the causes of stress, the physical and mental results of it, and how to deal with stress. Through a self-scoring exercise, participants develop their own stress profile, and learn how to master stress.
Succession Planning - Talent Management
Strategies for developing a succession plan, and a process for managing talent (retention, coaching and mentoring) are covered in one, or a series of presentations. “High potentials”, performance improvement, and planning for management transitions are addressed. Typically presented in two 3-hour sessions.
Supervision Course: The New Supervisor
Supervisors and managers depend on employees to get things done. The role of the new supervisor includes: leading, motivating, planning, communicating, delegating, assessing performance, and displaying competencies required to be successful. This course prepares new, and helps current supervisors, to lead a group of employees.
Team Building
Participants discover the characteristics of effective and ineffective teams. A personal inventory is used to demonstrate differences in team members. Five ways to build better teams are explored. Team building exercises are used to demonstrate the key points.
Time Management
Learn the importance of planning and organizing to save time. “We can't control time, but we can manage our use of it.” Valuable time management tools (day planners, electronic organizers) are covered. Specific organizational and individual needs can be addressed in this course.
Train-The-Trainer
The focus is on helping adults to learn. The four basic steps of training employees are covered. Participants understand how employees learn best and remember most. An application of program techniques is developed for "real world" training needs.

Building positive relationships helps employees become more productive. Learn to achieve greater results and create an environment where people are genuinely excited about the work they are doing. This course highlights the importance of catching people doing things right.
